Beautiful Pokhara

Pokhara is situated in the northwestern corner of the Pokhara Valley, which is a widening of the Seti Gandaki valley. The Seti River and its tributaries have dug impressive canyons into the valley floor, which are only visible from higher viewpoints or from the air.

Pokhara has become a major tourist hub of Nepal, more than making up for the loss of its trading importance. The city offers a combination of nature and culture and is mostly known as the gateway to the trekking route "Round Annapurana", which is usually a trek of 25 days.

Pokhara is quite a modern city with only few tourist attractions in the town itself. Most interesting is the old centre in the north of the city (Bagar, Purano Bazar) where many old shops and warehouses in the Newari style can still be found.

 

 

Itinerary :
Day 1: Arrival in Tribhuvan Int'l Airport. Transport to Hotel. Overnight stay in Kathmandu in Twin-sharing / Single-supplement* basis in BB plan.
Day 2 : Drive, Kathmandu - Pokhara. Overnight stay in Hotel in Pokhara in Twin-sharing / Single-supplement* basis in BB plan.
Day 3: Pokhara Full-day Sightseeing (Bindabasini Temple, Regional Museum, Mahendra Cave, Old Market, Davis Falls, Gupteshwar Cave). Overnight stay in Hotel in Pokhara in Twin-sharing / Single-supplement* basis in BB plan.
Day 4: Visit Sarangkot for Sun-rise & Mountain view, Nau-Danda, Hemja Tibetan Camp. Overnight stay in Hotel in Pokhara in Twin-sharing / Single-supplement* basis in BB plan..
Day 5: Drive to Begnas Lake & Sundare-Danda (can see both Begnas Lake & Rupa Lake & mountains). Overnight stay in Hotel in Pokhara in Twin-sharing / Single-supplement* basis in BB plan.
Day 6: Drive, Pokhara - Kathmandu. Overnight stay in Hotel in Kathmandu in Twin-sharing / Single-supplement* basis in BB plan.
Day 7: Airport Drop-off. End of Program.

 

 

Price for the Trip :

The cost for the trek or tour will depend on several different factors. The type of accommodation you choose in Kathmandu and/or another destination will make a difference to the overall costing (budget to 5 star accommodation). The mode of transportation you prefer is the another factor which affects the cost of your package, for example prices change significantly between flight versus private car/van, tourist/local bus. The number of guides and/or porters required will also affect the total cost of your trek. From above reason the same trek/tour can vary in price quite substantially.
