World Heritage Site Tour in Bangladesh

A UNESCO World Heritage Site is a place such as a forest, mountain, lake, desert, monument, building, complex, or city that a listed by UNESCO as of special cultural or physical significance. In Bangladesh, there are three World Heritage Site - Paharpur Buddhist Monastery (8 - 12 Century AD), Bagerhat Sixty Domes Mosque (15th Centure AD) and Sundarbans. Each World Heritage Site is the property of the state on whose territory the site is located, but it is considered in the interest of the internatioal community to preserve each site.

 

 

 

 

Itinerary :
Day 1: Dhaka Arrival. Transport to Hotel. Overnight stay in Hotel in Twin-sharing / Single-supplement* basis in BB plan.
Day 2: Drive, Dhaka - Bogra. Visit the Paharpur Buddhist Monastery, the biggest single vihara, south of Himalayas. Overnight stay in hotel in Twin-sharing / Single-supplement* basis in AP plan.
Day 3: Visit, the ruins of Mahsthan (3rd Century BC) & Drive, Bogra - Khulna via Hindu Temple at Putia. Overnight stay in hotel in Twin-sharing / Single-supplement* basis in AP plan.
Day 4: at Sundarbans. Visit Baherhat for sightseeing (visit sixty domes mosque of 15th Centure AD). Starts cruising towards the Forest. Overnight stay in boat in side the forest in Twin-sharing / Single-supplement* basis in AP plan.
Day 5:

at Sundarbans. Early morning, Kotka canals by country boat to see wildlife & see forest from very close range. Enjoy glimpse of forest from tower, jungle walk, beach walk, sun-bathing (swimming) etc. Overnight stay in boat in side the forest in Twin-sharing / Single-supplement* basis in AP plan.
Day 6: Khulna - Dhaka. Overnight journey in coach in AP plan.
Day 7: Dhaka Arrival.
Day 8: Airport Drop-off. End of Program.

  

Price for the Trip :

The cost for the trek or tour will depend on several different factors. The type of accommodation you choose in Dhaka and/or another destination will make a difference to the overall costing (budget to 5 star accommodation).
